The Volunteer Centre in Ledbury is accredited by Volunteering England and is part of a network of Volunteer Centres and Agencies across England. The aim of the Centre is to provide confidential and impartial advice and information about local, national and international volunteering opportunities.

What do volunteers do?
There is a wide variety of roles that volunteers fulfil from drivers, conservation workers, fundraisers, befrienders, trustees, counsellors, administration workers, first aiders, youth workers, retained fire fighters, Police specials and carers of animals.
Do you need volunteers?
If you are a voluntary, local or community group looking for volunteers the Volunteer Centre can help you find them. If you register with us as a volunteering opportunity we will :
• Register you on the national volunteering website www.do-it.org.uk
• Advertise your opportunity in the local press.
• Give you help and advice on any aspect of volunteering such as training,
references, good practice and press releases.
• Support you when taking on volunteers for the first time.
• Invite you to volunteer co-ordinator forum lunches
• Send you a quarterly newsletter with the latest information and updates.
